Some of us end the month with joy and gratitude, while others may feel tired, uncertain, or burdened by unfinished goals. But today, God’s Word gently reminds us that our true peace does not depend on how perfect the month went — it depends on His Spirit living within us. The Presence That Brings Freedom Paul wrote to the Corinthians to teach them about life in the Spirit. He explained that when we live under the law alone, we live in fear and guilt. There is a verse that deeply stirred my spirit today — “If the Lord had not been on our side…” (Psalm 124:1).  I found  a song of David that celebrates the faithfulness of God toward His people. David looks back at Israel’s history and says, “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us, then they would have swallowed us alive.” What a declaration! These words remind us that every victory, every deliverance, every moment of protection we have experienced is not because of our strength, wisdom, or luck — it’s because God was on our side. Without Him, our enemies, whether physical or spiritual, would have swallowed us whole. We would have been crushed by the pressures of life. But God stepped in, and His saving hand lifted us out of danger. When Jesus was told about the condition of Lazarus, He said to His disciples, “This sickness will not end in death. It is for God’s glory, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.” (John 11:4) When He arrived in Bethany, Lazarus had already been dead for four days. Martha came out to meet Him, and Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” (John 11:40) Then Jesus asked where Lazarus was buried. As He approached the tomb, He told them to remove the stone. There are things in life that Jesus will not do for you — you must do them yourself. Removing the stone represents removing your doubts, fears, and unbelief. Before the miracle can happen, you must do your part. When the stone was taken away, Jesus gave thanks to God — even while Lazarus still lay dead. That’s faith in action! Give thanks to God for what has not yet happened.   There is no power higher than the power of Jesus — in heaven, on earth, or under the earth. Philippians 2:10–11 reminds us: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things on earth, and things under the earth.” This is a powerful truth for every believer, and it has real-life implications.  The Three Realms That Bow The Bible describes three groups that will bow at the name of Jesus: Heaven: Every angel and heavenly being. Earth: Every person living in this world. Under the Earth: Even spiritual forces of darkness and the dead. Nothing and no one is outside Jesus’ authority. A decision to stop worshiping God because of man’s failure is never wise. 📖 “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” — Psalm 118:8 📖 “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.” — Jeremiah 17:5 Many give their lives to the church instead of to God. They obey their bishop more than they obey God. They love their pastor more than they love the Lord. All Things Work Together

  Romans 8:28 reminds us: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” We are all created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). That means every person carries His design, His value, and His purpose. Because of this, I believe we are all called according to His purpose. The difference is whether we choose to walk in that calling by loving Him. When we do, even our struggles, delays, and challenges are not wasted. God weaves them into His plan for our good. Nothing is random. Nothing is lost. In His hands, all things work together for good. Let us trust Him, love Him, and walk in His purpose — because our lives are not accidents, they are part of His great design.
