Why Every Christian Must Stay Connected to Christ

One of the greatest lessons I have learned in my walk with God is that serving Him is never something we "get used to." As Christians, we never reach a point where we can say, "I already know enough," or, "I no longer need God's help." No matter how long we have been saved, how much Scripture we know, or how many years we have served in ministry, we must remain connected to Jesus every single day. Our relationship with Christ is not built on yesterday's prayer, last Sunday's sermon, or past spiritual experiences. It is a daily relationship that requires constant fellowship with Him. The moment we begin relying on ourselves instead of God, we become spiritually weak. That is why Jesus reminded His disciples that without Him, they could do nothing.
