🕊️ When You're Sinking, Look to Jesus

He will reach for you — even in the storm. Today, I preached at a bereavement service for a young couple who lost their 3-year-old child in the most sudden and painful way. The child wasn’t sick. He had just gone outside — simply to pee — and somehow, he fell, hit his head, and passed away within seconds. There are no words for this kind of tragedy. As I stood with them, feeling the weight of their grief, the Scripture that came to me was this moment from Matthew 14 — when Peter walked on water toward Jesus: > “But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, ‘Lord, save me!’ Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him.” — Matthew 14:30–31 💔 You Can Be Faithful… and Still Afraid This couple are not strangers to faith.
