Rising Strong in September – God Will Carry You Through
Life has a way of testing us. August may have left many of us weary, burdened, or even broken. Some have said goodbye to loved ones, some have faced painful losses, and others have struggled with challenges that seemed too heavy to bear. But here is the good news: God never leaves us where we are. He is the God who renews, restores, and gives strength to the weary.
The Word of God in Isaiah 40:29-31 says:
> "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
This is not just a verse—it is a promise. As we cross over into September, we must hold on to this truth: God’s strength is greater than our weakness.
God’s Strength in Our Weakness
2 Corinthians 12:9-10: Paul reminds us, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Our weakest moments are the very places where God’s power shines brightest.
Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." You are never abandoned in your pain—God is closest when you feel farthest.
Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." The challenges ahead are not stronger than the Christ within you.
Examples of Renewed Strength
The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd, touched Jesus, and immediately received healing (Luke 8:43-48). Your faith can still connect you to the power of God today.
Samson prayed, "Sovereign Lord, strengthen me just once more" (Judges 16:28). God answered, showing that it is never too late for Him to restore your strength.
Jesus Himself said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). The invitation is still open today.
A New Month, A New Beginning
September is not just another month—it is a fresh opportunity to rise again. God’s mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Let go of the pain of yesterday and embrace the promise of tomorrow.
You may have fallen in August, but in September you will rise.
