The Lord Is Faithful: He Will Strengthen and Protect You
"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one."
There are moments in life when fear tries to paralyze us — when the battles we face seem too big, too strong, and too overwhelming. But in these very moments, God’s Word reminds us of a powerful truth: The Lord is faithful. He will strengthen you, and He will protect you.
God is not selective about His faithfulness. He is faithful to His children. He is faithful to those who call upon His name, to those who desire a relationship with Him, and to those who have surrendered their lives to Jesus.
If you are connected to Him, you have access to His strength and protection.

David and the God Who Strengthens
Look at David. The entire Israelite army, including King Saul, trembled before the Philistine giant, Goliath. Fear had taken over their hearts.
But David — a young shepherd boy — stepped forward, not in his own strength, but in the strength of the Lord.
He looked at the giant and declared:
> “You come against me with sword and spear, but I come against you in the name of the Lord.”
With the strength and power that comes from above, David brought down Goliath.
The God who strengthened and protected David is the same God who is with you today. Whatever giant you are facing — sickness, financial struggles, broken relationships, spiritual battles, or fear itself — know this: God is faithful.

Your Giant Is Coming Down
You don’t have to fight in your own strength. You don’t have to rely on your own power, intelligence, or ability. Surrender the battle to God, because His strength never fails and His protection never runs out.
Stand firm in faith. Declare His promises. The same God who gave David victory will give you victory too.
The Lord is faithful. He will strengthen you. He will protect you.
Glory be to the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Prayer for Today
> Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your faithfulness. Thank You for being my strength and my protector. I surrender my battles to You. Strengthen me, shield me, and lead me to victory, just as You did with David.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
