Have you ever been disappointed by your spiritual leader?

Maybe you faced injustices, betrayal, or pain at the hands of a bishop, pastor, or prophet — and it made you want to stop going to church, or even stop praying and worshiping God.

But here’s the truth: that bishop is not your God.
A decision to stop worshiping God because of man’s failure is never wise.

πŸ“– “It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” — Psalm 118:8
πŸ“– “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.” — Jeremiah 17:5

Many give their lives to the church instead of to God. They obey their bishop more than they obey God. They love their pastor more than they love the Lord. So when the bishop disappoints them, they walk away — not just from the church, but from God Himself.

πŸ“– “We must obey God rather than men.” — Acts 5:29

You may leave an organization, you may leave a bishop, but never leave God. Build your relationship with Him directly, because He will never fail you.
